Graduated from BA Visual Communication in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, 2009 and currently studying MA Communication Design in Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Stella's works has explored some conceptual ideas, taking a seemingly factual topic like the number zero and elaborating on its meaning. Her illustration works are simple and colorful; she likes drawing weird creatures and making little bizarreness with them. Through drawing, painting and writing thoughts, she explores a more cohesive aesthetics between objects.
She is recently working on character design in narrative storytelling – Jean Tu, Bêche-de-mer, telling about True perfection is in all the little imperfections. She was also exploring ways of making learning materials for children in an art therapeutic approach.

Life in London
Concept: I like little objects. Second hand poetry book, toaster, Bonne Maman Jam Bottle, Polka dots bag, coffee paper cup, pinecone… They are ordinary but yet lively with different personalities. Throughout the year in London, there are too many things happened, I couldn't trace back what I've done, but every time when I saw one object, it reminds me a sequence of stories, it's just special. The objects are without order and limits; from simple objects to complex thoughts, it enriches my life through a subtle observation.
