Chikara Matsumoto was born in Tokyo on August 31, 1967. He lives and works in Tokyo and graduated in BA Graphic Design at Tama Art University, 1991. He draws and takes the picture of this drawing that penetrated the light, and he aims at the pictorial representation of the image in mind similar to shamanism. He collaborate with specific musician, "Organ-O-Rounge" and "VOQ" on the image of video animation. We have a lot of live performance and exhibition without making arrangements about our image and music each other. And he initiates workshops of animation using his original devices such as the Hand Scroll Viewer, "Emakimono Machine". These devices supports his own activities as existence like a friend with children at school, hospital and art museums.

I am interested in the dualistic existence that look at each other in this world of the space. So when we talk with our art works, I hope to deepen our understanding of imagination each other. I want to view from eyes of "Tian Tian Xiang Shang" through my art work, "Cosmic Box" and imagine about the exchange of a viewpoint that be wrapped up in the world is that wrapped up the world in myself. I imagine our vivid relationship that have taught you something we know each other without talking any more.
